I did a gallery show last month with a great group of artists. There was a great turnout and I had a lot of fun being part of it. One of my pieces was a pencil drawing and if you take it out of the frame this is what you'll find drawn on the back. A bonus feature of sorts. :)

Hi! Your work is masterful, breathtaking...just lovely, creative and dreamy. I absolutely am thrilled to have discovered your blog.

Could I ask a favor? Would you mind telling the brand and color code for the blue pencils you like to use most? For example, Faber-Castell 9201-145.... (I spent nearly an hour last weekend at Pearl trying out different blue pencils and am disappointed in those I thought I had finally settled upon...really curious which you prefer.) Thanks so much!

  6. Anonymous thanks!

I fell in love with blue pencil while going through animation in school.

The colored pencils I use are Prismacolor Col-Erase 20044 blue. Surprisingly the best spot I've found to buy them is office depot.

  10. Thanks again Dela and Niki...

Can I ask another question? Is there a professional solution/workflow for lifting sketches off white paper? Thus far with mixed results I've used:

I am self-taught, and wondering if Dreamworks uses a more professional solution...

    Thanks!
